Date: 08/11/13   Location: college class

Time (from – to): 2-3pm   Activities: complete outline/ script

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken: Outline all our ideas, with details on camera techniques, camera shots, times, locations, props etc.     Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned)     We have all worked well together and have agreed on most of the ideas we have had, the only problems we can for see at the moment is being unable to obtain permission.

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken:   Today I used props to help video production (stood on wall, and threw clothes down on to cast). I also filmed a shot from top of the wall – clothes being thrown on cast member,   Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned)   We managed to complete this task with very little problems (did need a chair to climb on the wall) we worked very well as a team all helping to get the shots we wanted eg 1 filmed 1 was cast and 2 prepared and used props. I learned how to use a video camera and operate the zoom function.

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken:   I filmed a large part of the footage, using various techniques such as zoom in zoom out, panning and tilt   Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned)   Today we didn’t encounter any problems, I did learn that during zoom in it is very hard to keep the camera steady when hand held, the camera also becomes very heavy after a while.

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken:   Today jade and myself captured the footage we had so far transferring it onto a hard drive ready for editing.     Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned)    We had no problems during this task. I learned how to capture the footage and transfer it on to a hard drive.

Time (from – to): 1.30 – 4.30   Activities: editing

Personal Roles & Responsibilities Undertaken:    Helping the group to edit footage, decide what order it will be used in, and which pieces will be used or scrapped.           Brief Description of Experiences: (including problems encountered, teamwork, & what had been learned)   The problems we did encounter were sometimes we didn’t agree on what should be used an where it should be used but we compromised, I learned how to edit a video using final cut, and how to mark in and mark out,  taking out sections we wanted and swapping sections around.
